My current role as the District Nurse Educator for the Waitemata District Health Board, includes the development and delivery of in-house nursing education programs, education resources and policy/procedures that apply within the service and across the DHB. It involves collaboration with many specialty clinical and management areas such as palliative/hospice care, wound care, IV therapy, primary and secondary care delivery advancement and NET P programs.

My previous roles have been in the clinical area of district nursing and as a representative and patient educator for the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in haematology, diabetes and endocrinology.
My Master of Health Practice in Nursing focused on staff learning and development.
I have a passion for ongoing education, training and development, to facilitate the expansion of nursing’s knowledge and understanding around best patient care.
